“Offering juveniles a positive alternative to the Juvenile Justice System”
Coordinated by the Mayor’s Youth Service’s Bureau for the City of Stamford, the Juvenile Review Board is a group of volunteers committed to helping young people and their families within the community. The Board is comprised of members from local schools, the police department, young people, social service agencies, and the juvenile court.
The overall goal of this program is to divert youth from the Juvenile Justice System, when appropriate, by handling the case in the community.
