Kathleen Murphy has an MBA from the Wharton School of Business and many years of experience as Chief Financial Officer and Board Member of multi- billion dollar companies and non-profit organizations.

Presently Ms. Murphy serves as the Treasurer of the Town of Greenwich. She was appointed to this position in 2007 by the Board of Estimate and Taxation of the Town of Greenwich, Connecticut.

Ms. Murphy, an Independent, with an endorsement from the Republican Party, was elected to the Board of Finance in November 2009.

For the past seven years Ms Murphy has served as a Director of the Shippan Point Association. She is also a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Church and serves on the Parish Counsel. Ms. Murphy is a member LIUNA (Local 136).

Formerly, for fifteen years Ms. Murphy was at Connell Limited Partnership (CLP) where she was second-in-command.  CLP is a $1+ billion privately held diversified manufacturing organization with 2000 employees. She was fully accountable for the corporate finance operations as well as the tax, legal, insurance, and M&A activities, and served in senior operating company roles. CLP’s operating companies provide goods and services for such industries as telecommunications, computer, electronic, semiconductor, medical, business equipment, automotive, tool & die, furniture and appliance.

Ms. Murphy also served in executive positions at Fairchild Industries, Inc., a $2+ billion NYSE listed diversified manufacturing company with significant defense, aerospace and satellite communications businesses, and IU International Corp., a $2 billion NYSE listed holding company which had a diversified portfolio of companies in such industries as ocean shipping, mining, electric and water utilities, environmental services, land development and distribution.
